FAIRFIELD COUNTY FAVORITES
Date Night: The Whelk, The Cottage, Tavern at Graybarns
Family Day: Compo Beach with lots of sunscreen and a sunset BBQ by the cannons! When it’s not beach weather you can find us at the Maritime Aquarium or in Fairfield at the Sportsplex or Ole Soccer. We also love a family lunch at Valencia Luncheria in Norwalk.
Girls Night Out: Jesup Hall, Pearl & Artisan in the summer
Retail Therapy: I’m a terrible shopper, so I often end up at Foot Reflexology when I need a little me-time therapy! Otherwise, if I need a quick outfit, I often run into Lucy’s or Roundabout. If I am searching for my home or a hostess gift, my go-to is The Beehive in Fairfield. I try to support local businesses if shopping in person.
Workout/Wellness: Obsessed with my Peloton. My husband and I have been trying to maintain a plant-based diet for the past year for health reasons, but we end up cheating a lot on the weekends when we’re at some of the aforementioned restaurants.
MD MOM HACKS
Blotox! Every 3-4 months I do a simple Botox treatment along my frontal scalp, it helps you get more mileage out of a blowout, and cuts down significantly on the frequency you need to wash your hair.
Aquaphor/Vaniply – there are tubes of each all over my house. These products can be used for everything from taking off makeup, soothing chapped lips or on a cut!
